About my life…
I was married for over 13 years to my husband Steve…We were together for 16!
He is truly a great guy and one of my very best friends…In April of 2008, we divorced, after a rough two year period, a lenghty separation, many counseling sessions, etc…It was a decision that was not made lightly or easily. We are going to try the impossible…To remain friends after a divorce…Some days it is easier then others…But as of now, he remains a very important part of my life.
Remarkably, many of our friends and family have a harder time with this than we do. I think it would be easier for them if we hated each other…I could never hate the man I spent 16 years growing up with.
I can’t pin point exactly what went wrong…Just many many little things along the way that eventually became big things…
We do not have any children…Its a long story that I dont mind sharing, so if you have questions, just ask. But basically, we tried for many many years. I had several miscarriages, and then nothing…There is of course the medical route we could have done, and we did go down a few of them, but for reasons of our own, we decided NOT to persue that path.
I am not a religious person, but I do beleive in my own heart that if God wanted me to have children, he would give them to me without medical intervention. THis is my own personal beleif and I have NOTHING against people who DO chose to go the medical route…
I am an avid animal lover and am heavily involved with animal rescue and welfare. I own three dogs and one cat currently. And I volunteer at my local humane society…
Since losing my weight and becoming fit, I also do several 5 and 10K’s per year…A HUGE sense of accomplishment…
I have an older sister, and one younger half sister both of whom I adore…I am very close to my mother and step father. I have great friends and family.
I love sports, especially Tribe baseball, Blue Jackets hockey and my beloved Buckeye football.
I drink and rate craft beer as a hobby.
I read ferociously. Sing like a rockstar, and basically like to hang out and have a good time.
