Thank you Dawnie!!  That is an inspiration!  That is one lucky young man to have his whole family behind him so lovingly.

And some of us may not have ‘blood’ family fighting this battle with us, but at least we have our BuddySlim family.  To me, that means just as much!!!!

Thanks for that Dawnie.  Lovely article.  It’s interesting the different content each reader takes from it though.  This line did it for me, “I told myself that as long as I was making progress, no matter how small, I was still successful.”

I particularly appreciate how his parents decided to make the charity pledge. I think that was a great idea. He is very lucky to have so much family support, no wonder he succeeded!

What a great story!  He’s a lucky man to have a family that would make the committment with him like that.  I took the same lesson that Nikki did - no matter how small, any progress is good progress!!

Thank you for sharing that, Dawn.  What an incredible man and an incredible family he has.  It puts a lot of things in perspective on more than just the weight loss.  That made my day, as you do a lot of days on your blogs.  Thank YOU, Dawn  .  Keep being you.  Peace Out…
